Amesbury as it stood in 1914, sketched building by building on foot, then composed as if seen from a balloon. Drawn by Oakley Bailey, who worked the north-east for half a century. Street names, rail lines, church spires and the shape of the river are all on the sheet.

Where it comes from
Every sheet is a period lithograph, reproduced from a high-resolution archival scan and printed unretouched: fold lines, foxing and all. This is a new print of an old map, not an antique.
